How do the donations work?
There are two options for your donations.
- Mask Donation. If you have fabric face-masks you wish to donate to an organisation. We will connect you. Please fill in this form.
- Monetary Donation for masks. If you wish to donate funds towards the supply of fabric face-masks for those in need, The Craft + Design Institute (CDI) will support the entire process on your behalf and arrange to donate to the charity of your choice. The CDI will provide you with the relevant 18A Certificate. Please fill in this form to connect with the CDI.
If I have fabric face-masks to donate, how does the logistics work?
If your business has fabric face-masks to donate, there are two possible ways that you can have them delivered.
- The Craft + Design Institute has an office near the V&A Waterfront (Cape Town), and any masks you wish to donate can be dropped off there by prior arrangement. The recipient NGO/NPO will then collect the masks from there, or the CDI will consolidate mask donations for the nominated charity.
- Your business may also deliver fabric face-masks delivered directly to the recipient NGO.
